This elopement picnic was everything! Ok it was actually a styled shoot I put together. But these two are a real couple with a real love story who are planning to get married this fall. So basically this was just practice for them for the real day. They were more than happy to help me out and be my models for this styled elopement picnic at Kitsap Memorial State Park in Poulsbo, WA. I also reached out to some budding new businesses to help make it extra special. Vividly Yours Co helped with the picnic setup and styling it. It's their forte! They had this awesome little elopement picnic table and brought all the glass and stoneware and truly elevated this picnic from a typical picnic basket to something with class, complete with rugs, pillows, and candles (which we didn't light, gotta prevent those forest fires, am I right?!). It serioulsy was stunning once put together even without anything else. Chase with Beverly Blooms, came in clutch with all the florals and added some extra vavoom to the table. All I asked of her was to incorporate some ferns and man did she deliver. A little Wicked Cakery came in with her cake for two (though I hardly doubt two could eat the whole thing in one sitting) Such a big little cake! I had a little nibble of it myself and it reminded me of the fall. She mentioned she used Mexican vanilla which has a little more spice to it. It was the most delicious cake I have had in a very very long time. The cool thing about this styled shoot was that all I did was present a mood board with the color scheme and look I was going for, created on Pinterest. After that I let each vendor do it's thing. We had NO IDEA what it would look like all together until the day came and it all fit so perfectly together. All this to say, TRUST your vendors (especially this crew). They know what they are doing!
